Pearl River High School is advising the community that the Law Enforcement will conduct active shooter training drills on campus Saturday, October 3, and Saturday, October 10.
Residents may notice an increased presence of emergency personnel, emergency vehicles, and activity around the school during the training.
School officials say there is no emergency and the activity is part of a scheduled training exercise designed to support emergency response preparedness.
If you see a large law enforcement or emergency response presence at Pearl River High School on either Saturday, this training is the reason.
