July 31, 2026 — Slidell Police are responding to a single-vehicle crash after a vehicle struck the St. Tammany Pet Center near the intersection of Robert Boulevard and Fountain Drive.
According to the Slidell Police Department, the driver was being evaluated by paramedics following the crash. Police said there did not appear to be any major injuries at the time of their initial report.
Photos released by police show significant damage to the building, including a large opening in an exterior wall and damage inside the business.
First responders remain on scene working to safely clear the area. Drivers are being asked to avoid the intersection of Robert Boulevard and Fountain Drive while emergency crews continue their work.
It was not immediately clear what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike the building.
