ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — August 29, 2026 — APR•St Tammany has reached out requesting an updated status and estimated opening date for the Highway 36 bridge project, but as of Saturday evening, we have not received a response.
Work is clearly continuing at the site, but based on the current progress, APR•St Tammany believes it may be mid September before the bridge reopens. That is only an estimate and has not been confirmed by officials.
We will update the community as soon as we receive an official timeline.
