PEARL RIVER, La. (August 8, 2026) — Emergency crews responded Saturday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash that completely blocked Highway 41 Spur near Maple Street in Pearl River.
According to St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11, crews were on scene working the crash and advised motorists to avoid the area and find an alternate route while responders worked to clear the roadway.
Fire officials said two patients were transported to a local hospital as a precaution. No information regarding the extent of any injuries was immediately released.
A photo shared by the fire district shows two pickup trucks involved in the collision, with both vehicles positioned in the roadway.
Officials said the situation was under control and crews were working to restore normal traffic flow.
Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays until the roadway is completely cleared.
