ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — A grocery delivery driver was arrested after authorities say he sent an unsolicited sexually explicit photograph to a St. Tammany Parish woman after completing her delivery.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, 32 year old James Chenoweth of Franklinton delivered the woman’s grocery order Friday night, September 18. After the delivery, investigators say Chenoweth sent the woman the explicit photograph by text message.
The woman contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and deputies located Chenoweth the following day. STPSO says he had already attempted to delete the photograph from his phone.
Chenoweth, who authorities say works for a third party delivery company, was taken into custody and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on charges of obstruction of justice, obscenity involving an unsolicited sexually explicit text message, and improper telephone communication.
The Sheriff’s Office did not identify the delivery company in its release.
